Floyd County Youth Shelter receives funding

Floyd County Youth Shelter receives money from the County Council to keep it operating; but the Council president feels the Shelter needs to find a way to manage more effectively. One possibility is to become a non-profit organization (or merge with one that already is established as non-profit), which would, among other things, make them eligible for additional grants.
