G'town gets sewer stimulus

Georgetown was awarded a $3.5 million federal stimulus grant which should lead to a 2010 start date for a plant. When finished, the facility would allow Georgetown to get off New Albany's sewer system. Georgetown is still looking at $600,000 to $800,000 in expenses for property purchase and easement acquisitions, as well as the costs for converting customers to a new system
