Junkyard Wars

Denny Andres, operator of the junkyard in Floyds Knobs, was given the deadline of removing all cars and trucks from 1/3 of his business by the end of July 2003. He was told to remove another third of the vehicles by June 2004. The case was originally filed in 1990 against then owner Wilfred Andres, Denny Andres' father.. Kevin Carroll, a neighbor, filed suit in 1999 against Mr. Andres saying he violated zoning ordinances. That area is zoned for agricultrual and residential use.
