Local Salvation Army helping families get ready for school
Roxanne Haley is the business administration manager for the local Salvation Army.. Each student may choose 12 articles of clothing and one pair of shoes.. The program is open to residents of Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Washington and Scott counties. Participants should bring verification of school enrollment or a birth certificate and proof of address.. 90% of the students are in kindergarten through 12th grade . Headstart students are welcome as are college students and parents returning to shool.. Photograph accompanies the article.. The Back-to-School-Clothing Give Away is in its 14th year.
