Key section of proposed Greenway path collapses in Clark County

The Director of the Ohio River Greenway Commission, Richard Dickman, stated the plans to open a bridge over Mill Creek may not take place due to the bank eroding.. A large section of the riverbank collapsed over the weekend removing half of the road west of the new bridge. Cracks in the remaining roadway show more danger of collapse.. The Army Corps of Engineers was alerted in 2003. They suggested a $40,000 study of the road.. A $1.7 million bridge has been built but cannot be used until the bank is stablized.
