Forty and Eight has rich history

The 40/8 is located at 221 Albany St. Recently they spent almost $5,000 on sewage and clearing work that has brightened the locality. Since 1956 the local club has given over 140 grants to nurse trainees. The club sponsors many programs, one being a trust fund for children who have been in disasters. Also, all children who write a letter to Santa Claus receive a letter from Santa that the club has responded to.. Photograph of the building accompanies the article.
