Local business owners attend boot camp

Six business owners from New Albany traveled to Florida to learn about understanding customers,finances, and business recruitment and marketing. The class was titled ""Destination Development Boot Camp"". Jon Schallert taught the class. Mr. Schallert worked in marketing at Hallmark Cards for 10 years prior to developing his own company. The intent is to have attendees share information. Downtown New Albany wants to improve the startup of small businesses within the Urban Enterprise Zone. Established stores anticipate doubling or tripling their business sales after attending this class.
