INDOT cedes maintenance garage to New Albany

The garage was given to the city as part of a deal announced in April between New Albany and INDOt. The state is paying the city $6,125 to take over 4.5 miles of Ind. 111 and Grant LIne road and is giving them the garage. Mayor Doug England said New Albany will use the former garage to house mulitple city departments
