IUS racing club looking to grab national spotlight

The Electric Vehicle Racing Team is preparing for the Model Design Competition held June 20 in Salt Lake City.. Bryan Ray is president of the team. He is a sophomore mechanical engineering student at Purdue University.. Once the car is designed the electrical engineers work on computer software used to guide the car. It is not a remote control car; the chip must guide the vehicle from start to finish.. The cost of the car cannot exceed $350. Home Depot donated the materials for a test track in order to practice..
