Floyd Memorial buys Cancer Center

The Cancer Center of Indiana -- at 2210 Green Valley Road in New Albany -- is now part of Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services. Everything, including doctors and the 39 employees of the Cancer Center, will remain intact. Dr. Naveed Chowhan, whose group opened the center in 2001, will continue to own the building -- which includes equipment and services -- and is estimated at $8 million.
