Kramer's book to illustrate Clark, Floyd counties

Dr. Carl Kramer spoke to Rotary Club about his new book that will be published in the winter of 2005. In the book Dr. Kramer contrasts the discussion about building the Portland Canal on the Kentucky or Indiana side of the Ohio River with the fight to build the bridges today. The 400 page book was partially financed by a grant from the Ogle Center. Dr. and Mrs. Kramer are looking for other individuals to help underwrite the project.
