Graceland Baptist Church planning to open baseball sportsplex for 2006 season

According to Karen Croft, Graceland Recreation Ministry Director, ""'With the development of nearly five acres of prime land west of the current high school ball field, we will be able to offer enhanced softball and baseball facilities for youth and adult leagues as well. An additional five acres, just southwest ofthe planned ball fields will be developed as a Great Lawn area, suitable for additional soccer fields, practice areas and other activities.'"". ""Construction will begin this spring of 2005, with the target date for opening the fields by the spring season of 2006."". ""A formal ground breaking ceremony is planned in the next few weeks...
