Floyd County teacher awarded McDonald's grant

Judy Cooper, a teacher at Holy Family Catholic School, received a surprise when whe was presented with nearly $500 in grant money from McDonald's Restaurants of Kentuckiana on Nov. 24. MAC Grants help teachers Make Activities Count in the classroom by sponsoring meaningful, hands-on activities to enhance the learning process for students in sixth-, seventh- and eighth grades.
