Investigators looking into arson as cause of fire

A Sunday morning fire at Catherine Place Apartments that sent five people to the hospital is being investigated as a possible arson case. The fire started at 8:35 a.m. in the 800 block of Catherine Place, and the New Albany Fire Department arrived at the scene withing five minutes of the first call.
