Home Builders Association wins state award

Since 1956 the membership has grown to 425 members from Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington Counties. The Home Builders Association provides "tool scholarships" to outstanding vocational school students in building trades. 71.4% of Hoosiers owned a home in 2000; and the median value of a Hoosier home in 2000 was $94,300. Each news home creates $19,000 in local, state and federal taxes each year.. Photograph
