FMH releases health assessment study

"The death rate for those who have heart disease and cancer is higher in the the adults in Floyd, Harrison and Washington counties than adults nationwide. Those results, along with others, were released last night as part of Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services' 2001 Community Health Assessment.". Various other percentages are quoted in this article, including percentage of smokers, birth rate for teen mothers, percentage of the population who do not have health care insurance, etc.
