KIPDA to update roadway classifications

KIPDA likely will conduct a study updating the region's roadway classifications. An approval set a priority list for Specialized Transportaion Captial Assistance Program funds -- to buy new vehicles -- which are part of a matching federal grant given to local nonprofit organizations. The first preference for a vehicle is going to the Down Syndrome Support Association of Southern Indiana and totaling $49,000. The second priority listed is going to LifeSpring Inc.; other organizations were LifeSpan Resources Inc. and New Hope Services Inc. each requesting $40,000 for vehicles
