Man arrested for assaulting woman in parking lot

A New Albany man was arrested Sunday after a 29-year-old woman reported that she had been physically assaulted in a parking lot. Alonzo Mitchell was arrested on preliminary charges of class D felony domestic battery and was booked into the Floyd County Jail.
