Local residents attend 'Fall Ball'
Seven young ladies from Providence House for Children were treated to dinner, formal attire and a visit to Waterfront Park in Louisville.. The girls ranged from 7-17. They received invitations and the Providence House staff loaned formal wear -- gowns, shoes, jewelry and accessories.. In the afternoon each girl received a free makeover at Dillards in Clarksville. They were also given a "goodie bag".. When the girls returned to the Home, they had their hair styled and their nails done.. The dining room was transformed with linens, china, twinkling white lights, candles, flowers and music. A special menu was provided by "Chef Jeff" a team leader.. After dinner, the ladies traveled to Waterfront Park where they had their photographs taken.
