Grant is only hope for some with failing septic systems

River Hills Economic Development District and Regional Planning Commission will apply for federal grant which would allow extension of sewer lines ""from Wemberly (Wymberly) Woods sewage treatment on Buck Creek Road to the Jenny and Paul's Lanes/Scottsville Road area"".. Homes in this area have septic tanks which are leaking, causing a health problem. Many of the homes were built on small lots, so there is not enough room to replace their failing septic tanks with ones that are now correct.. ""The county should know by the beginning of June whether or not they will receive the HUD grant.
