Last first day

It was their last first day of school, but for Community Montessori Public Charter School seniors, Thursday also marked a big first for the school; this year's 13 seniors will be the first ones to graduate from the school this spring. The school opened in 1997 and became a public charter school in 2002. Barbara Burke Fondren, director of the school, said many of the seniors have been going to the school for years.
