About three inches of ice and 32 degree water didn't discourage 200 people from jumping into Deam Lake for the Special Olympics Indiana third annual Polar Plunge on Saturday. Shannon Bline, public relations representative for Special Olympics Indiana, Area 2 , said this year's plunge raise about $50,000. Indiana State Police had a dive team out at the lake to break ice and move it out of the way for the plungers to dive in. Photograph accompanies the article
