It's hammer time in SEJ

New Directions Housing Corp. has been chosen to manage the $6.75 million S. Ellen Jones rehabilitation project, Mayor Doug England announced Tuesday. Funding for the effort, which could impact as many as 40 dilapidated houses in the SEJ area, was awarded to New Albany through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. New Directions knows it must provide opportunities to local builders, bankers and others as it implements redevelopment activities in the S. Ellen Jones neighborhood
