Floyd Memorial Hospital takes to the road

A new mobile health care service at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, a brightly colored 36-foot airstream bus, covers a seven-county radius. It is equipped to offer a wide range of free health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, osteoporosis, body mass index, hearing and carbon monoxide. In addition to the community outreach, the unit will be used by the hospital's Occupational Health Network to perform medical testing, including drug testing and screenings, for its clients' employees..
