Floyd parks bill passes House, headed for Senate

A bill that would transform the New Albany-Floyd County parks system into an independent parks districts with a secure source of funding passed the Indiana House on Wednesday with a 61-32 vote. The bill now goes to the Senae, where it must pass through a committee hearing and a full vote by the Senate before it can go to the governor's office for his signature
