Funeral director Richard Pyke facing 15 new charges

Embattled funeral home director Richard Pyke is facing an additional 14 charges of class D felony theft and one count of class A misdemeanor conversion after Clark County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jeremy Mull filed amended charging information on Wednesday. Four of them result from burial plots where people paid money for burial plots and the cemetery association was never paid. Those cost Mountain Grove Cemetery Association about $975 in total losses. The 10 remaining counts allege that Pyke sold pre-need funeral services, worth a total of about $65,000, but never put money into escrow or trust accounts, as is required by law
