Georgetown woman accused of stealing thousands from local doctor

An employee at a Floyds Knobs doctor's office has been charged with stealing more than $22,000 from a local doctor by forging her name on checks. Patricia Stumler, of Georgetown, was charged this week with 10 counts of class D felony theft and 10 counts of class C felony forgery. Dr. Daniel Eichenberger reported money had been stolen from an account that he bills for Dr. Ashley Lankford, according to a probable cause affidavit
