The number of graduate students at IUS from Kentucky counties went from 43 percent to 51 percent. Tuition increases on the table in Kentucky brings students to IUS. Students taking advantage of cheaper tuition. Students from Jefferson, Bullitt, Trimble and Oldham counties in Kentucky are able to pay the same tuition as an Indiana resident would pay at a state university or college. The number of undergraduate students attending IUS from those Kentucky counties went from 18 percent in 2002 to 24 percent in 2007
