Man accused in string of robberies back in jail

A Clarksville man charged with robbing four Walgreens pharmacies reported to the Floyd County Jail on Wednesday and is being held on $200,000 court-cash or surety bond. Joseph Adam Johnson had been on home incarceration since he was released from the hospital after wrecking his car during a high-speed police chase last month. Johnson was arrested May 7 after Floyd County Sheriff's Department detectives installed a Global Positioning System device on Johnson's vehicle for three weeks until the GPS recorded Johnson circling several Walgreens stores
