Linden Meadows to get $70k nudge from city

The New Albany Redevelopment Commission preliminarily approved Tuesday footing up to $70,000 of infrastructure expenses to aid in the rehabilitation of the now defunct Linden Meadows development. Street resurfacing as well as sidewalk and street light installation would be covered by the $70,000, which would come from the commission's allotment of federal Community Development Block Grant funds. The commission unanimously agreed to the proposal requested by Captain's View LLC -- the new development group that reached an agreement with the state in April to rebuild Linden Meadows.
