Leftover Scribner funds may be used for Greenway

New Albany may be able to cover its match for federal Ohio River Greenway funding through project proceeds remaining from Scribner Place phase one. The next portion of Greenway planned for the city would connect New Albany with Clarksville, and is estimated to cost about $5.3 million to build. Federal money including stimulus funds will cover the bulk of the construction, but New Albany would be responsible for a match of approximately $1.25 million
