Library hosts pet emergency program

The New Albany-Floyd County Public Library is presenting a program on emergency pet care from 7 to 8 p.m. June 1. Sara Beavin, a certified pet first aid instructor, will teach attendees how to recognize an emergency, how to set up a pet first aid kit, how to keep your pet's emergency information, protecting your pet from heat stroke and more. There will be time for questions at the end of the program
