Making a difference

Floyds Knobs Elementary students recently raised more than $3,500 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the fundraiser, Pennies for Patients. The program encourages students to empty out their piggybanks and dig under the couch cushions for spare change to donate at school. Floyds Knobs was the fifth highest fundraising school in our Southern Indiana and Kentucky Chapter this year and the top fundraising school in Indiana. Photograph accompanies the article
