Man runs from police after being transported to Floyd jail

Police were investigating a disturbance and noticed Edward Wardford trying to walk away from the scene; according to the report, officers repeatedly told the man to stop, but he did not comply with the orders. Officers transported Wardford to the Floyd County Jail to be booked in. While he was being held in the receiving area outside the jail, he allegedly ran fromthe officer that transported him to the jail
