Man involved in police shooting has criminal record

While charges have yet to be filed on a Jeffersonville man who was shot Sunday in Floyd County by a New Albany police officer, he does have drug-related convictions in Clark County. Timothy Burns was involved in a shooting at ImmediaDent in New Albany Plaza along State Street. He was allegedly trying to get medication fraudulently, and was shot five fimes after pulling a knife on the responding officer
