Floyd is driven to help those in need

Since the mid-1970s, Jesse Floyd has served as president of the board for Tri-County Health Coalition, a state initiative aimed at educating and preventing disease and death among minorities in Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. Bunkered in a hole-in-the-wall storefront along State Street in New Albany, he has turned the organization into a place where the poor are respected, and the needy find hope.
