Funeral director's bond revoked

Bond for funeral home director Rick Pyke was revoked Thursday by Clark County Superior Court No. 1 Judge Vicki Carmichael. The embattled funeral home director, owner of R.D. Pyke Funeral Home in Henryville and the former Pyke-Calloway Funeral Home in New Albany, was arrested last week with his 19-year-old son, Richard "Bradley" Pyke, for class D felony theft. At the time of his arrest, Pyke had pending charges in Clark and Floyd counties and in Kentucky related to theft and insurance fraud; he had posted bond in all his cases
