Fire damages Hitching Post

A downtown New Albany institution was damaged by fire early Thursday morning. The New Albany Fire Department was alerted by a New Albany Police officer that smoke was coming out of the Hitching Post Tavern, 115 E. Market St., around 3 a.m. See article for more. Continues on page A6. (photo).
