died Oct. 19 at St. Petersburg FL; pioneer of pre-fab homes in America; came to New Albany in the 30's. set up his first plant at E. 10th Street and the river, the site of the old New Albany Veneer Company; Gunnison built Valley View; first in America to construct a project, Parkview, under the Federal Housing Administration.
