High-speed Internet access has been available for a long time in Clark County and Jefferson County; legal issues about ownership of cable lines and infrastructure problems have prevented Floyd County from having the service sooner.. Floyd County is looking forward to cable modems and the availablity of DSL to bring service more in line with what other counties are offering..
