Public to sound off on adult entertainment ordinance

There is a great deal of public concern about adult businesses opening in New Albany. The city-county building is not large enough to accomodate the expected crowd for the meeting. The meeting was held at Slate Run Elementary School. Danny Embry, the owner of New Albany DVD, was at the meeting. New Albany DVD opened for a few hours last month at 601 W. Main St.. Mr. Embry has filed a lawsuit against the city for violating his constitiutional rights by refusing to conduct a final inspection of the company's building after renovation was completed.
