School district, local businesses and agencies earn state awards

The school corp. received an Award of Merit in recognition of outstanding accomplishments, accommodations and contributions to persons with disabilities. The school corp.'s transition team, called FORTE (Finding Opportunities and Rewards in Transitional Education) lists staff members. Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit were made in the categories of technical, small business, public sector (N.A. Parks Department), corporate (Furniture Liquidators) and manufacturing
