School system looking at possible redistricting

Last night, Dr. McKibben presented a study to the Board of School Trustees explaining demographic projections for the next 10 years. After a four-month study, McKibben said the corporation will likely have to redistrict. He said most of the population growth is centered in the county area, but most of the school buildings are in the city. 10 of the 13 elementary schools in the system will experience an enrollment decline in the next 10 years.
