Residents told they must wait until after summer for sewage improvements

Residents of Jenny and Paul's Lanes (near Scottsville Road) have been bothered with the smell (and health concerns) of sewage that leaks from faulty and aging septic tanks in their area.. A grant that had been applied for, which would have greatly helped to pay for extending sewer lines (which residents of Jenny and Paul's Lanes would then tap into) from the Wymberly Woods Wastewater Treatment Plant, was denied because of an advertising misprint.. The grant will be applied for again; residents should know by mid-November whether or not it is received.
