Residents speak their minds about water rule change
More than 100 members of Save Our Knobs and Greenville Concerned Citizens groups came out in full force to show support and speak out in favor of a proposed rule change filed jointly with the Indiana Water Pollution Control Board. The rule would require all new waste-water treatment plants and proposed treatment plant expansions to maintain a minimum dilution ratio of 10 parts stream water to one part discharged treated water at all times. Last night's meeting was the first of three public hearings on the proposed change.
