Police, city reach deal to avoid arbitration

The city of New Albany and the FOP wull not be going into arbitration for the third straight year.. The cost of medications has played a large part in negotiations.. The city will pay $800 a month for the retirees' health care.. The city will pay 90% of active employees' and dependents' medical insurance.. The cost of the deductible will now be $200 for a single plan and $400 for a family plan.
