Valley View dilemma

Valley View Court is made up of 40 rental and owned homes. The city wants to move the homes because Floyd Memorial Hospital is expanding. The houses have to be moved or demolished. If the homes are moved the city will receive matching grant money from the federal government. The city will not get anything if the houses are demolished. Residents of Valley View are concerned about the age of their streets and the existing sewer system. They are also worried the homes will take valuable park space.
