Overdue funds

In 2004 Mayor Regina Overton assigned 3 police officers to the Housing Authorities properties to keep from laying them off. The police had not been paid by the proper department. Once the records of officers were gathered, a check for $254,654.80 was given by the Housing Authority to the Mayor's office.
