St. Mary's Catholic School teacher receives grant

Ms. McKinley will be using a $1,500 grant for a service-learning project to focus on poverty. The grant is sponsored by an national education program Teaching Tolerance. Her students will discuss the causes and possible solutions to this problem by reading books, conducting research and writing letters to the government.
