Public turns out to oppose adult bookstore

The adult store is located at 601 W. Main St. in an area zoned for general business such as pawn shops and restaurants. The store opened without a certificate of occupancy or a final inspection and has been served with a stop work order. However after the city council meeting the store was open.. The council passed the final reading of an ordinance creating a new city sewer board. Mayor Garner is the chairman; Larry Kochert, Mark Seabrook, Bill Utz and Todd Solomon are members.
